Water Infrastructure

Much like other cities across the nation, San Antonio is dealing with aging infrastructure and a burgeoning population. While we have systematically replaced pipes we have a nearly 600 square mile area and close to 7,000 miles of pipe to monitor and maintain. Despite all ongoing maintenance pipes still break and repairs are needed due to wear or other environmental factors.

Additionally, as our city grows our infrastructure has to grow with it both to bring in new sources such as Vista Ridge as well as to provide water to new neighborhoods.
